The nation's largest privately funded organization serving at-risk children, Boys Town provides direct care to more than 47,000 children and assists 1.4 million annually through its youth care and health care programs at sites in 14 states and the District of Columbia.

Boys Town partnered with Bellevue University to develop a custom master's degree program centered on important learning for this national organization's mission. The Master of Science in Family and Youth Services combines learning from Boys Town's nationally recognized training programs with an academic component centered on Human Services Management from Bellevue University.

Additionally, Bellevue University articulated Boys Town workshops and repurposed them for online delivery, giving them broader availability and CEU credit.

All of Bellevue University's education offerings for Boys Town employees are administered though a proprietary online corporate university, developed by the partnership. In 2006, Boys Town won a CUBIC (Corporate University Best in Class) award for this corporate university.

Defense Acquisition University was established in 1991 to oversee the training of the 135,000 civilian and military employees of the Department of Defense.

Bellevue University was chosen to support the Department of Defense as it helps the rest of the federal government leverage innovative educational programs from the Defense Acquisition University (DAU). The relationship is part of a broad human capital strategy being created to address critical federal workforce needs over the next fifteen years – a growing workforce skills problem virtually every organization is now facing.

To begin the partnership, Bellevue University worked with DAU senior leadership to define critical human capital issues and develop cost effective approaches to aid the federal government in addressing high priority workforce learning needs. Today, Bellevue University offers contracting professionals equivalency training courses and a customized Master of Science degree in Acquisition Management online.
